Part of the group attended the MRS meeting. Three students from our group gave four oral presentations at different symposia. Hailiang orgamized a symposium on catalysis with Peter Strasser@TUB, Yongye Liang@SUSTech, and Karen Mulfort@ANL.

Hailiang organized a symposium at the ACS National Meeting in San Diego, with his old friend Chong Liu@UCLA.

Hailiang co-organized and edited the Young Innovators (NR45) Awards in Nano Energy special issue for the journal Nano Research. Hailiang will continue to serve as an editor for the journal for which he has had a long affection since 2008.
